We would like to start this letter of reference by saying that we were in your shoes at one time. We wanted to adopt, but were worried about the uncertainties of adoption. We had a strong desire to be parents, but did not know where to go or how to begin the process. Ruben and Aurora changed all of that. We could not have made it to where we are now without Ruben and his staff at Aurora International Adoption. They provided us with direction and put something that felt so overwhelming into clear focus for us. The idea of adoption was all at once an exciting and terrifying aim. A friend here in South California had successfully adopted a child with Aurora’s help, and she recommended their services.
